We’re excited to welcome Lisa Bhatt, a registered Nutritionist with degrees in biochemisty and personalised nutrition. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families to optimise their health and wellbeing using the latest scientific research. With a love for real food and a drive to educate, Lisa’s workshops are packed with fun, hands-on activities to help families explore the power of good food. From gut health to energy-boosting snacks, these sessions will inspire kids and grown-ups alike to make delicious, nourishing choices in everyday life.

Did you know your gut is home to trillions of tiny microbes working hard to keep you healthy? This hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the magic of fermentation and the power of gut-friendly foods. Learn how probiotics and prebiotics support digestion, immunity and even mood - then roll up your sleeves to make your own sauerkraut or ginger bug to take home. Curious minds can also peek at bacteria under a microscope and sample delicious, fermented foods at the tasting station.

Nature’s colours aren’t just beautiful - they’re packed with nutrients! In this vibrant workshop, we’ll explore how different coloured fruits and veggies help fuel our bodies in unique ways. Kids and grown-ups alike can get creative assembling rainbow salads, designing edible food art and playing a game of Colourful Food Bingo! A delicious way for kids to learn about healthy eating!

We’ll even put our snacks to the test with a fun energy experiment - can you feel the difference?
