We understand and respect the importance of your privacy and we are committed to the transparent processing and safeguarding of your personal information. In providing our services to you, we need to collect personal information from you and make use of it as detailed below.

HOW WILL WE COLLECT INFORMATION?

We will only collect personal information from you as follows:
– When you make a booking with us over the telephone or via our online booking system, or sign-in on arrival if you have not booked online
– When you write, telephone or email us to make an enquiry.
– When you register with us to receive newsletters or email updates; and when you enter competitions run by us or take part in surveys or customer feedback.

WHAT INFORMATION WILL WE COLLECT?

We may collect all or some of the following information relating to you or other parties on your booking:
– Name and contact details (including your telephone number, email and postal address);
– Special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect your chosen booking.

When you make a booking on our website, your booking will be made through our third party processor, Allocate (run by Airspace Software Ltd); you should refer directly to their privacy policy statement for details about how your data will be stored by them.

You will be prompted to give credit/ debit card or other payment details to a third party payment processor, Stripe. This information is collected by Stripe directly in order to take authorised payments for your booking and you should refer to their privacy policy for details about how it will be used by them. We do not see or store your credit card information.

On arrival at the campsite we will note your vehicle registration and name/contact/booking details against a pitch allocation.

HOW WILL WE USE THE INFORMATION YOU GIVE US?

When you make your booking, we will use your information in the following ways:

We will use the names and contact details of people on your booking to arrange and secure your booking and will store, process and share your data in line with our terms and privacy policy, to which you must agree before confirming your booking.

We will use the email address and telephone number you give us to send you booking confirmation documentation and sometimes to contact you prior to arrival with information or offers for your stay. If you fail to provide us with this information, we may not be able to plan or confirm your booking.

Whilst you are at the campsite, we may need to use the information for the safe and efficient running of the site (for example to call you to move your car) or in case of emergency where we may need to provide details to the emergency services.

WILL MY INFORMATION BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES?

We will only pass selected information to organisations and contractors who act as “data processors” on our behalf in order to provide you with our services; namely Airspace Software Ltd (booking details), Stripe (payment details) and M&K Simpson Services (campsite operators). Any personal information we share with them or which they collect on our behalf is solely for the purposes of providing their service to us and our service to you.

We will not disclose your personal information to any unrelated third parties, although we may need to use your personal information to comply with a relevant legal or regulatory obligation. We will never share information about you with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your express consent.

STAYING IN TOUCH

If you have specifically signed up to receive our newsletter (by filling in the form on our website with your name and email address), you may receive these from time to time. You can change your mind and ask us not to stay in touch at any time by contacting us or by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button on any marketing e-mail we send.

WHAT OTHER RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?

In the first instance, please talk to us directly so we can resolve any problem or query. You also have the right to contact the Information Commissions Office (ICO) if you have any questions about Data Protection. You can contact them using their help line 0303 123 113 or at www.ico.org.uk.

GDPR gives you the right to access information held about you, and you may ask us in writing for a copy of information that we hold about you. You have the right to request additional information about the handling of your personal data and to object to the processing of your data in some circumstances or to ask for it to be deleted.

Any access or additional information request may be subject to a fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Our website makes use of cookies. Cookies make it easier for you to log on to and use the site during future visits. They also allow us to monitor website traffic and to personalise the content of the site for you.
