We have a fantastic array of amazing woodland experiences for Kids aged 5-15. Whether it’s our popular Wild Things Summer Camp, The Badgells Wood Forest School or a Bushcraft Birthday, we’ve got your budding Bear Grylls or Katniss Everdeen covered.
We’ll guarantee big smiles, muddy knees & an enriching experience in the heart of nature.
Bushcraft Birthdays.
Ages 5+*
10am to 12.30pm / 1.30pm to 4pm

Ideal for your budding Bear Grylls or Katniss Everdeen!
Our party leaders are our resident Bushcraft and Survival teachers – all highly experienced with valid CRB/DBS checks. All parties include hot chocolate, soft drinks and toasting marshmallows around the campfire. The birthday child even receives a special gift.
You may bring along your own food for a picnic (by prior arrangement)
and you are also welcome to bring along a cake.
* Some activities are not suitable for children under 7 yrs.

Badgells Wood

Wednesdays during the summer holidays
(Spaces are limited, so it’s essential to book ahead.)
11am to 1pm – Bushcraft Adventures – £18.50
(suitable for age 5+…family friendly)
(Children between ages 5 and 7 will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Please note that all participants, including parents accompanying their children, will need to pay for this session)
An introduction to bushcraft skills for our younger campers, to include navigation, fire-making and shelter building.
Archery – £15
Every Saturday - From 11.30am to 12.30pm & 1.15pm to 2.15pm
ALL children attending Archery sessions, regardless of age, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
An introduction to archery, suitable from age 8. Have a go in our purpose-built range and see if you can become the next Hawkeye or Katniss Everdeen.
