For your little wild ones…. and some not so little….drop them off for a day of bushcraft, survival, archery and a whole range of other outdoor skills and crafts taught by our resident experts. Ideal for your budding Bear Grylls or Katniss Everdeen !
Running Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, you can drop off your child with us every day for a week or choose which days you’d like (subject to availability). Early drop-off & late pick-up by arrangement.
6th – 10th August and 13th – 17th August 2018
For ages 5-12 years
(to be split into age groups, as appropriate
and subject to numbers attending)
Activities will include: fire lighting, survival skills, shelter making, cooking over an open fire, water purification, woodland crafts, navigation, tree and plant identification and many more.
5-7 Year Olds: Some of the above activities may not be suitable for younger children so our forest school trained leader will be on hand to run a programme of more appropriate activities including soft archery, den making, fire safety and making, cooking over a fire, woodland crafts and games, nature walks and tracking etc.
Please provide your child with their own lunch; soft (non fizzy) drinks and water will be available. Please note that all activities are outdoor….it WILL be muddy so best clothes definitely NOT recommended! Wellies, raincoats and sunhats should be provided, for whatever the weather has to offer!
All of our instructors are well trained and hold appropriate CRB/DBS certificates. There will be a maximum of 12 children per instructor.
These are 5 day courses running Monday – Friday (but there will be the opportunity to dip in and out as you choose).
£180 for 5 days (5th day is free)
or £45 per day (subject to availability)
