Bushcraft – runs every Saturday
Want to know how to make sure you can get your fire going in any weather? What about if you’ve left your matches behind…..or find yourself stranded in the middle of nowhere…..we can give you a few pointers on lighting fires, building shelters and a whole lot more – maybe one day you’ll be able to give Bear Grylls a run for his money…!
We have our own team of trained bushcraft, survival and archery specialists and we are members of the Institute of Outdoor Learning. We get booked up quickly & suggest booking when you book your pitch.
We can also offer longer survival courses over a few days for those of you who want to hone your skills. See our bushcraft page for more details.
Our nature trail is proving very popular. Pop into reception to get a sheet with the details on & a pencil for taking rubbings – get a badge when you complete it (£1.50 per child to cover cost of materials). We also have lots of books in reception with ideas for camping & nature activities for children.
Call in to Reception and talk to Karina about it.
